I wonder if you could do this around a 5 gal. Bucket weave in a buckle on the top and at the bottom like on the bracelets but larger and weave the strap and make a sling backpack. Any ideas on what the length of cord might be for the bag and strap.
This got to be the most frustrating piece I’ve ever attempted. I started it a few days ago, & aside from the 2 closure loops, it’s been a tangle screw from the start. Now I see it’s not coming out like the video, I’m begining the arduous process of pulling it all apart & starting over. This video makes it look deceptively simple. I know why you didn’t shoot the video with all 60′. It’s a PIA. The loops won’t stay in place on the can for nothing & it’s all bunched up near the top.
THIS PROJECT IS NOTHING BUT A TANGLE-FUCK WAITING TO HAPPEN. YOU CAN’T DO A SINGLE STITCH WITHOUT HAVING TO FIGHT WITH A RAT’S NEST ON EVERY SINGLE PASS. THE PIECE REFUSES TO KEEP FROM SLIDING DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF THE CAN CONSTANTLY. I DO THESE TO GET ENJOYMENT OUT THEM, NOT TO BE FRUSTRATED TO THE POINT OF THROWING IT ACROSS THE ROOM.
