I was just wondering if unlocking/jailbreaking my Iphone voids the 2 year protection care package that I purchased in addition to my Iphone?

It voids the warranty, but not sure about protection care.

Yes. It voids both the warranty as well as any extended warranty.
It does but simply restore it before returning it or just pay the $ 50 fee for having it jailbroken/unlocked.
