I’m getting an iPhone 4s soon, so I wanted to know if the bumper or an actual case going to protect my phone more if I drop it. Thanks!

It will protect the phone somewhat better but try to not drop it.

Bumpers,the rubber acts as a shock obsorber,so when your iphone falls,no actuall damage will be done to the phone itself
Definetly an actual case. I would recommend you get an Otter Box Defender. It’s an all around case that prevents shock damage up to a two story drop. It is made out of military grade plastic and thick rubber. This case also has a built in screen protector. You can get it on amazon for about $ 20.
