I make art and illustrations, and am having a real good time doing it. Fathered by a writer, and mothered by a reading specialist, I thought it only natural to pursue visual art. I spent my childhood camping, and exploring the neighborhood with my crew of small-fries. I think the two activities still inspire my work. I decided to keep making art, and am thankful to all who helped me along the way and enabled me to keep doing so.

My artwork is inspired by ephemera, wilderness, the midwest, the concept of escape, animals, and memory. I’m excited about the opportunity to work with Case-Mate because I have always been a supporter of making art accessible to all types of people. I understand that not everyone can go out and buy a 3,000 dollar painting in a gallery, but its still nice to think that I can provide someone with a cool piece of art in multiple different formats.
